HIGHLIGHT BUSINESS EXPO
Duluth, MN
– New business communication and marketing are a few of the
highlights of the 6th Annual Business Expo to be
held at the DECC on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Formerly
known as the Duluth Business to Business Expo (B2B), the
show is presented by Lundeen Productions of Duluth.
Hundreds of regional business
people will converge at the DECC to learn about business
products and services; attend seminars and workshops
presented by the Northeast Entrepreneur Fund, UMD’s Center
for Economic Development,
Faster Solutions
& other focusing on social media and other important topics
in today’s business world.
The Lake
Superior Business Expo is proud to announce the Northeast
Entrepreneur Fund as the sponsor and facilitator of the
Quick Connect Networking Event as part of this year’s
expo. Take your networking skills from dial-up to broadband
by attending this highly popular speed networking event.
Attendees need to sign-up early as this event has limited
seating and fill up fast.
Keynote speakers for the expo are Al Lautenslager,
co-author of the business best seller “Guerilla Marketing in
30 Days and Jeffrey Thompson,
Principal
Consultant of the management consulting firm, Innovations In
Quality.
Lautenslager
has shared the stage with Mayor Rudy Guiliani and worked
with Donald Trump and The Apprentice.
He is the
former president and owner of The Ink Well, a commercial
printing / mailing company and the principal of Market For
Profits, a Chicago based marketing consulting and coaching
firm. He is a multiple, “Business of the Year” award winner
and is the featured marketing and PR expert for the online
version of Entrepreneur Magazine. Al is a member of USA
Today’s small business panel and also appears regularly on
radio and TV. Al is also the co-author of Guerrilla
Marketing in 30 Days, the most recent best-selling book in
the guerrilla marketing series and author of The Ultimate
Guide to Direct Marketing and numerous other marketing and
business books.
Thompson
has been in his field of specialty for 23 years. He
specializes in conducting business assessments, strategic
planning, leadership development, human resource management
strategies, and in the development of organizational systems
that contribute to enhanced productivity through long-term
change processes. As an Industrial Psychologist, Jeff has
had the opportunity to implement these strategies in over
685 organizations.
New in 2010 is a
collaboration with the Hermantown Area Chamber and "The
Chamber" (Superior-Douglas County,) the Lake Superior Expo
to present a specially ticketed luncheon "Where's My Vine"
with Lautenslager addressing the group. “This will be a
great opportunity to learn what your guerrilla marketing
resources are, all while enjoying lunch. With so much
emphasis now on social media his message is even of greater
interest,” said Tracy Lundeen, Expo Producer. Tickets to
this event are $20 and include your admission to the
luncheon and the Lake Superior Business Expo. A special St.
Patrick’s Day lunch will be featured. Chamber members can

the Business Expo will host “Out to Lunch” featuring samples
