This Inventing Success™ Workshop help inventors learn that
the most important investment they can make is to become
educated in the product development process; and to know how
to identify reliable resources and spot invention promotion
companies. To make sure you spend your time and money
wisely, you need to learn the steps successful inventors
take to develop marketable products. The Minnesota Inventors
Congress (MIC) is a non-profit organization that has been
educating inventors
since 1958.
BIO: Deb Hess, Executive Director
Deb Hess uses her marketing and management experience to
educate inventors on how to develop marketable products. She
has worked with independent inventors for 25 years and has
been coordinating the MIC Inventing Success™ Workshops for
over 20 years. Hess is a certified trainer, coach and
facilitator who foster’s the creative and innovative spirit
in entrepreneurs.
Inventors benefit from Hess’ experience as owner of her
family’s micro-enterprise, where she has fine-tuned her
business skills from development to accounting. In addition,
she served two terms as an elected official for Redwood
County, where she gained valuable consensus building skills
and knowledge of public policy.
As coordinator of the Invention & Idea Show™, the annual
invention expo hosted by the MIC, Hess has witnessed the
value of providing the opportunity for inventors to test
market their latest products, leading to financial backing,
manufacturing, job creation and economic development.
Deb Hess speaks to inventors, students, intellectual
property attorneys, manufacturers and others across the
state of Minnesota. On an international level, she has
served as a juror for World Cup of Computer Implemented
Inventions in Taipei, Taiwan and as US Representative for
the Global Sustainability Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. |
